I am looking for help to make some changa. A good friend gifted me the following:

- 1g Banisteriopsis Caapi Alkaloids (*Yellow* Ayahuasca vines)
It contains all of the caapi's alkaloids (Harmine, Harmaline and Tetrahydroharmine, acetyl norharmine, harmalinic acid, harmic acid, harmine N-oxide, harmol, methylester harmic amide, ketotetra-hydronorharmine, shihunine and S-(+) dihydroshuhunine.

- 1g of very pure DMT freebase

My question is, what are the steps to make Changa with this? Is it just a simple case of mixing the alkaloids and the dmt (1:1) and adding it to a preferred herb blend?

I've got a herb blend made out of Marshmallow, Red Clover and Rose Petals matured in honey and apple juice, which I love to smoke and if adding the caapi alkaloids/dmt would work out to be Changa, that would be fantastic.

Please excuse my ignorance, any help with regards to this will be greatly appreciated, thanks!

Dissolve about 200mg of your harmaloids in a minimal amount of warm IPA* (acetone is crap for this), then add your gram of spice, dissolve also (add more warm IPA if needs be), and chuck in your leaf, making sure there is enough solution to cover all of it - I use shot glasses. Leave to evaporate, stirring ocassionally, once the solvent is all gone, load your bong / vape and enjoy!

*use a heat bath, naked flames are a no no!

As I understand it, the Banisteriopsis Caapi Alkaloids in combination with the DMT ought to be all I need.

Do I still need to go through steps 4-8 and if so, do I have to dissolve the spice together with the Caapi Alkaloids?

You could either smoke the caapi alks first, dose them sublingually, or make Changa, it's up to you really, but changa has its own charm for sure, plus it is very easy to make...

How long does the evaporation process approximately take? Having only just found out what IPA is, I want to be sure not to smoke any of that

It usually takes a day or two, you can speed it up with a fan and / or warm water bath if you want. Just smell it and if it reeks of potent alcohol, it needs to dry a little longer. Once it smells of what ever leaf you have + alien candy, you're good to go
