The water,, base, MHRB was given a quick filter through galvanised strainer, and yes, the area on the vegi strainer that held the base solution has all the galvanised coating
eaten away. Extraction undertaken anyway despite tiny metalic particles visible in the MHRB/ base mix solution.

The seperated Nap. solution appears like normal, clearish -off yellow solution.

Question: Could these metal particles migrate into the NPS layer and cause a health issue?

Obviously not using a metal strainer again!

it is very unlikely that they will contaminate the end product
i have asked this question of many chemists and not one has told me that they could end up in the NP solvent
