Hey Everybody,
Sorry I haven't posted in awhile. I've been meaning to, but haven't been able to find the time. Now is a good time though.

So, here we are. What has it been, a couple of weeks since the initial experience? Well, I have good news!

I haven't been waking up to dmt trips!

This has happened I think like 3 or 4 nights now. I guess my body finally was able to get rid of the excess DMT in my body.

This is good because I've been kinda worried about whether or not I'm gonna be waking up to DMT trips for the rest of my life. And I was only worried because it was happening every night.

inneffablethings,
Thank you for your post, I'm just wondering what made you post it. Was it my initial meditation description? Or was it the post afterwards describing me meditating before bed. Just wondering. Thanks!

One last thing, a question. How long do y'all wait before smoking DMT again?

Thanks a lot,
Karl

Good quality Syrian rue (Peganum harmala) for an incredible price!

Both of those were part of the impulse.

For waiting, an hour seems to be enough time to overcome any built tolerance. I believe Strassman's studies involved a high 4 dose in a row session - being 4 high dose injections separated by an hour of time. I don't recall if it was every hour, or an hour after the effects had diminished.

*EDIT TO ADD*
As far as how long should you wait is another question. I'm rather new to the spice, so have essentially nothing to offer there. If you're smoking daily, it might be good to have some people who you trust deeply give you feedback if they think you start having difficulty integrating your experiences in a healthy way.

I get what I jokingly refer to as "elf flashbacks", which are reminiscent of the standard "flashbacks" for me. I sometimes think these are my brain integrating the experiences, there's a lot of reflection on my part during them. And practicing paying full attention to work or whatever else I'm doing while that dimension feels somewhat open.

But this is old habit from practice with the non-spice entheogens for me. I consider whether the spice's offering is simply too far away from "normal" reality for me to be able to have any success at a translation into action or "mundane reality".
I am a writer, currently using these forums to build a character for a novel who becomes obsessed with strange things and has a psychotic break. I neither condone nor engage in illegal activities.
