No, limonene doesnt freeze precipitate, you have to salt it out with an acidic solution, and then convert to freebase later. Check BLAB tek for salting/conversion info.
AFAIK imonene dissolving n-oxide is an educated guess that is probably right due to polarity data but AFAIK it hasnt been tested yet with analytical equipment. I also wonder how much of n-oxide really forms in bark (or in basified solution, or in crystals too), it could be that much less than people think.
In any case I dont see why not using some DMT in your bark solution to get more alkaloids out. Naphtha isnt a very thorough solvent for DMT, so while it does dissolve most DMT with enough pulls, its possible there remains still some DMT in your bark and that limonene (or other stuff like xylene/toluene etc) will pull more easily. So try it out and let us know
