SWIM did three sodium carbonate washes on each pull due to having dirty brown/black solvent.

Used an excess amount of water due to a misunderstanding, about 1 ml water to 1g naphtha-solvent during the sodium carbonate wash with a couple grams of sodium carbonate each time. Each wash proceeded to purify the liquid more and more, and after 3 washes it went from being near black to becoming milky white, great success, SWIM already has a large amount of pure crystals from this pull.

So SWIM has an extremely large amount of Dirty Sodium Carbonate Water separated, run-off from the washes we did, which is Milky Brown with a faint yellow hue. It surely contains some DMT, how much SWIM do not know, given it's milky color SWIM would imagine it has some. Any recommendations for how to extract? Can SWIM throw it back into the soup?

SWIM consider putting it back into the mix, (there is already lye, mhrb, water, in the mix) adding more lye, and running another pull? I know there is another way to do this, can you tell me?

SWIM also wanted to make sure the sodium carbonate from the water would not contaminate the mix.

Unfortunately SWIM is out of lye, a few days before getting more...

Is there a substitute SWIM can use for lye to base?

Peace.

Glad to hear the sodium carbonate wash was a success. This is a great step a lot of people skip and miss out on.

If you wanted to extract it you could, I assume the yield would be very small but it's worth an experiment. If you add the s. carbonate to the jug it probably won't cause too much of a pH fluctuation. Hopefully you can just roll some solvent in there and pull from it. If, however, you do encounter an emulsion, which means the layers have trouble separating, it is wise to either wait until more sodium hydroxide can be acquired, or use something like Advanced Nutrients pH up which can be found at a hydro store.

Aya brother thank you so much for your help, you are a good soul.

Following the heart is the way, it would seem, every time one felt the intuition to make a change to the recipe it worked without effort, often contradicting the research. A tremendous amount of yield is coming, the heart knows the way to truth always. Many of the mistakes made during the extraction were the times when the heart was denied for the mind... a common mistake.

The research has also helped remain prepared, very good medicine ya.

Be well.

Love.
