You have to give more information if you want us to help properly..
Is mimosa from reputed supplier? How much mimosa? A/B or STB? If A/B, how many boils and for how long? Is solution jet black when adding base? Do you have more info on your naphtha (MSDS or other more detailed info on content)? How much naphtha per pull? Did you do many thorough cycles of mixing/letting stand before pulling the naphtha each time? How much heat to evap? Nothing = literally nothing or small amounts of goo?

Funny Snozz! It does appear that he forgot to add base at least in the steps listed. However the color of jet black sounds like base was added. I always get some nice red/burgundy/purple colored liquid at the end of the vinegar cooks. Everything mentioned herein has been deemed by our staff of expert psychiatrists to be the delusional rantings of a madman who has been treated with Thorazine who is hospitalized within the confines of our locked facility. This patient sometimes requires the application of 6 point leather restraints and electrodes at the temples to break his delusions. Therefore, take everything mentioned above with a grain of salt...

This is a stupid thread, someone give Snozz a medal and then can a mod delete this thread? I'm going to make a thread going in to step-by-step detail of what I did and then in that thread I'm going to ask what I did wrong after giving many details about my extraction process.
