Hey everyone! So SWIM has been experimenting with Acacia Confusa Root Bark extensively and is... well confused?

SWIM has sampled spice from viridis, Chaloponga, and MHRB... all with quite similar outcomes... well as similar as a DMT experience can be. In otherwords SWIM found it was always the carrier tone, followed by closed eye imagery, followed by break through where time & space doesn't exist... with the entities, etc...

Now, SWIM is having big issues with ACRB. It seems that no matter how BIG of a dose, the experience tends to be so different for SWIM? SWIM says the first thing that comes on is an almost immediate change in head confusion followed by open eye "distortions". SWIM says the confusion is kind of like... "Oh Shit, that is my hand with a pipe in it?" Then the carrier tone slowly creeps in... which at this time SWIM takes one last hit and lays down with eyes closed. Now here is where it gets weird. SWIM says the experience is COMPLETELY visual. Like crazy weird visual. Each time is completely different... but SWIM says that objects just appear in randomness. SWIM describes it as usually some type of crazy geometric background and then images of random objects just start filling the scene. Like a clown on a unicycle, tennis rackets, beach balls, shoe, female figures (both sexy & also "sister/aunt/mom" like), etc... Just completely irrelevant images like a collage. Some move, some are just "there".

Now SWIM is well aware that these images are something being dragged from the subconscious and is sure it has some overall meaning. But this isn't the issue. The issue is... the last experience SWIM took five MASSIVE hits in under a minute, holding each for 10 seconds. The experience was overwhelming for SWIM, however... still only visuals, just way more intense! Like, at the peak SWIM was in a room with random objects all over the walls & celling in a physics defying nature. There was also some lady crawling around on the walls in a poka dot maid dress??? Kind of freaked SWIM out for a moment and SWIM opened the eyes to see an exact replica of open eye visuals in SWIM's room! Crazy! This experience lasted 15 minutes with another 15 minutes for SWIM to realize where we finally were and then the after glow was a good hour, if not more! This is the longest expereince SWIM has ever had... yet there was no sense of a "break through"??? Near the VERY end SWIM seems to think there are entities speaking about what is going on in the scenery, but entities don't appear.

So what do others think? Could ACRB have more than just DMT? SWIM has not had much experience with oxide or others. It is a weird experience as SWIM lives for the break throughs and it just doesn't seem to happen with this... no matter how much of a dose is done? MHRB seemed to get SWIM "there" in doses as small as 25mg sometimes... SWIM's last adventure was probably upwards to 100+mg (changa, as always Smile). It will be interesting to inform SWIM of others experience with Acacia Confusa!

Good quality Syrian rue (Peganum harmala) for an incredible price!

Isn't NMT inactive? It is documented that Acacia Confusia contained NMT in the alkaloid profile but I assumed that this had no effect.

You'd have to do a blind tasting to rule out any placebo effect (smoking equal quantities of acacia and mimosa DMT without knowing which is which). The long duration suggests something else, who knows a trace of bufotenine???

Anyway, a great potential replacement of our beloved MHRB!

Hey Nen, I actually just check out your link and forwarded it to SWIM. I think that is on the right track. If ACRB is 2/3 NMT and 1/3 DMT... this would explain the massive doses still being sub breakthrough threshhold... i.e. a 100mg dose would only have 33mg DMT, which is not quite the amount required for most breakthroughs.

SWIM also said that the subjective experiences in the article with only NMT is also very close to the experience and feelings SWIM was having in the afterglow. Science is amazing...lol. Once an understanding occurs, things all seem to "make sense".

Thanks for the help!

..in the interests of science, it would be good to get a few more people to trial NMT, as this is very new, & there were only 3 subjects in the the
experiment described in the article..i can find no single report, however, of NMT being inactive by vaping or injection (only by oral ingestion where MAO would destroy it), so i don't know what the origin is of the often stated "NMT is inactive" belief..
..also what NMT could do with DMT in synergy (regardless of NMT action on its own) is another matter not really examined yet...
