my second and third extraction from 500g MHRB went through a yellow naphtha state, which was washed several times with sodium carbonate. still as yellow naphtha i decided to evaporate and recrystallize, with light yellow colored resulting crystals. i supposed it could be fats, but after i tried the spice i got this really unpleasant burning sensation in mouth and lips. it became so annoying that i had to stand up middle trip to get some vinegar to wash my mouth, for i thought it could be lye residue, is it?

DMT burns if it comes in contact with your mouth tissue, its freebase.
In your case, you might have simply burnt the spice. This can lead to massive pain. An indication would be, that your experience wasnt as strong as anticipated.

any recommendations to smoke my spice(other than vapor genie or changa)? im using a house made pipe made out of a light bulb. should i regulate my lighter to a weaker flame?

Oh, a lightbulb is a horrible choice. Bound to burn the spice.

Look up "Machine" "Machine bubbler" "The inspirator" for good VG alternatives.

honestly you're better off throwing it on top of a pipe with some herb rather than the lightbulb. Or make one of the devices, either way the light bulb is not the way to go.

I've been using The Mini-Machine for a while and I highly recommend it. With less than 30mg I am on The DMTSpace. Look it up in the wiki, it's really easy to make and extremely easy to use.

I don't like to wash my spice with sodium carbonate and I always get white crystals (using a personal variation of Noman's Tek).
The only time I used Sodium Carbonate the resulting product was really nasty to smoke.

what about antenna pipes with copper filter? would that work?
