Lo everyone,
swim has managed to extract about 1.6g of orange waxy crystals HOORAY. WHen he tried them they gave a nice trip but were incredibly harsh. swim has only ever had pure white crystals before so doesn't know what to expect from waxy ones and wants to make sure they are safe before sharing with friends.
After smoking about 0.1g swim developed a slightly tight chest and felt mildly short of breath, in addition a tingling sensation on his lips after smoking. swim does not smoke anything else so could this be because his lungs simply are not used to smoke?
Is this normal for waxy dmt or could there be something nasty in there?
Also is there any way to clean the product up with minimal loss, ie an alternative to recrystallisation?

Loss is a good thing. It means you cleaned the crap out of your product. A simple recrystallization is all you need to perform, and I would highly recommend you do so. Also, try not to combust your neurotransmitters. They are smooth as heaven if you vape them properly. Just takes a bit of practice

Thanks again guys Did you freeze precip your spice or evaporate the solvent? When i spoke to you on that other thread i was assuming you had washed your spice and then left the solvent to evaporate thus producing dmt n'oxide but if its unwashed and was freeze precipitated i would highly recommend a re-x or 2

I find it more difficult to properly vaporise dmt n'oxide as it has more of a tendency to catch fire if you're not careful and this would release harsh smoke. If properly vaped n'oxide is lovely to taste and quite different from n'n dmt ime.

Awesome thanks for the help guys, it was a freeze precip i prob should have said. THink i found out what it was, on a second pull the naptha came out dark brown so swim let it stand in the glass tray for a while and a layer or reddish brown goo fell out of it before swims eyes and collected on the bottom. after standing swim poured it into another container separating the two. swim was trying to decide if it was the basified layer or not but i dont think it was. It seemed to be more viscous and just seemed different, could be that the solvent was so saturated with oils and crap that they were literally falling out of it! (wild speculation i know but its my best guess)
swim saved it to chuck in the re-x just in case. Could anyone direct me to a good re-x tek pls so i can show swim? hes never done one before and doesnt want to fuck it up!
