I'm using q21 tek 2 extraction with heptane. I've noticed on both extraction attempts pulls 3 and up my spice has a yellow to orange tint to it and is a little waxy. I genrally freeze for 10 hours, then pour heptane off for reuse, then let container sit for 4-10 hours to further evaporate/dry. Is the color due to heptane still absorbed in the spice and i just need to dry/evaporate longer, or am i, with these later pulls, actually pulling more alkaloids out?

Probably plant oils and/or waxes, i usually don´t mind but alot of people re-x it to make it white.

Thats what i thought, i was hoping i was pulling more out. I dont think there is any need to re-x if it's going into changa.

Definitely no need if its going into changa, you'd end up losing some usable stuff.
