Hi, I have been doing vinegar/lime/naphtha Q21Q21-style extractions for some time now but would like to do more quantity. I can't seem to find d-limonene or xylene around my parts, but I like the ease and leisureliness of the BLAB. What I want to do is, do the 3-day vinegar soak of the BLAB, but then strain the vinegar out of the bark and discard the bark, then basify the vinegar solution with lime, then use naphtha to pull then freeze precip. Will this be efficient, I've read that vinegar does not convert the DMT to DMT-acetate, just breaks down the cells walls and makes it easier for the base the to freebase it. If thats true then I shouldn't separate my bark from my vinegar solution but I have'nt seen a definitive answer on this. Just trying to see if anyones used naphtha with the BLAB as well, and if there results were satisfactory

Good quality Syrian rue (Peganum harmala) for an incredible price!

SWIM tried separating bark material out of the vinegar after soaking it in the BLAB and it was a BAD IDEA It was necessary to mix the bark material back into the basified solution to bring the yields up to expectations which is a pain.

One soak is not enough, no matter how long you leave it for. If you want to strain the solids, then do another 2 soaks/boils on the bark
