Around here where I live, I see mimosa trees everywhere. Well, at least that's what my mom calls them. I was just wondering if this was the same kind that is used here. Maybe it's a different kind. I'm really not sure. Just wondering if anyone has any insight into this. If this tree is what I need, I can just uproot them and be good to go.

Many species, the one here is Mimosa hostilis, though there are some indications that at least a couple other mimosas might contain good amount of dmt, for example Mimosa ophthalmocentra. Others might contain unwanted (or even toxic?) alkaloids so please dont go extracting just any Mimosa and bioassaying without having correct identification of the plant. So try to find out which exact Mimosa grows there

Ok, just to clarify, I researched the plant we have here and it is not Mimosa Hostilis... damn!
Maybe I can get some seeds somewhere. Smile
