Ok, so I did a STB on 250g of MHRB and pulled with Xylene.

The xylene pull was really dark brown. (I used a good bit of heat)

I then made up some FASW and at first added it drop wise to the xylene.

It seemed like instead of precipitating anything, it was just kinda blobbing up and falling to the bottom.

So instead of adding it drop wise, I just dumped the remaining FASW solution into the xylene and shook the hell out of it a few times.

Now I have three layers and I'm not sure how to proceed.

The top layer of xylene is very yellow compared to the dark brown it was but still far from clear.

The middle layer seems to be precipitate and the bottom layer is some dirty looking water.

I've included a couple of pics to hopefully help out.

My goal was to end up with clean xylene that I could use again and to have a nice batch of full spectrum fumarates for oral use.

What should I do next to accomplish this?

Good quality Syrian rue (Peganum harmala) for an incredible price!

I guess I was hoping for all of the spice to transfer out of the xylene and into the water as fumarate.

I ended up just evapping everything.. still waiting for the water to evap.

I'm guessing there will be some excess fumarate in the end product. I can clean that up with acetone right?

correct - evap water - wash the fumarates with acetone
disolve in a tiny amount of water - and filter if u are to use fumarates as is or disolve in some water and add sodium carbonate in water - to freebase it - give it time to -xtallize
