I was doing a STB on 224 grams (half pound) of mhrb powder. I was rolling and drinking when I started this which was a terrible idea looking back.
I previously did an extract on 112 grams with 30oz of water and 3 1/2 tablespoons of lye with 2%+ clean yield with ease.
So I was just going to double everything and I think I only used about 45oz of water instead of 60oz and 6 tablespoons. I added the powder before all the lye dissolved.
6oz of naphtha was added. Pulled and let evaporate and I got about 1.3gs of yellow crystals. I added some more lye, i don't know why. 2nd pull yielded 0.6g of brown/tan crystals.
I thought something was wrong because of how dark the crystals were and how white they came out the previous extraction. So I added 15oz more of water and some more lye.
It yielded about .2 of really waxy and yellow dmt gunk. I looked around for amounts I should be using and I seen places saying to use double what i had as far as water and lye so i said whatever i'll try it and see.
So I brought the total amount of liquid to 125oz and added a mess load of lye, stupidly just pouring it in fast. The naphtha from this mixture was clear red/brownish.
It evaporated to a very light tan like dried milk looking film. Scraped it up and it looked exactly the same as when I scraped up a xylene pull (after pulling with naphtha).
Except this was straight brown, no crimson tint. It rolled up into weed resin looking balls, looked exactly like the jungle spice as that point, it smelled like straight dmt though.
I smoked about 37mg of this under some parsley. It was like dmt but a bit more cloudy headed and the visuals weren't as intense.
Based on effects, I felt about 75mg would be a breakthrough dose for this stuff. Friend tried it and said same, not as intense, but lasted longer and great body high.
I feel like this stuff is halfway between dmt and jungle. Maybe it's both, I have no idea. Any thoughts?

perhaps the dmt degraded from the excess lye? or perhaps the water got too hot much so much lye at once.
oh and i tried what came out while i was rolling and it felt like i dropped 15 pills at once. really boosted the mdma high without really any of its own presence being felt.

No impurity, it was definitely 100% naphtha in the pulls only. I've had excellent results before and after this extract. I think the huge amount of undissolved lye affected it some way.
I doubt it was just dmt because of the mental cloudiness. I find weed clouds my head more than dmt. 3 pulls all yielded this brown film, no crystals at all. I pulled around 1.2g of this stuff altogether.
The first 2 pulls yielded crystals though, albeit much darker compared to every other extract. Tasted like dmt but not as thick tasting, much smoother. And the overall high is noticeably longer.
