Hey I was reading through the list of psychadelic plants on wikipedia and I think I recognize Arundo donax as a plant easily available to me. however: Quote:Arundo donax, 0.0057% DMT in dried rhizome is it even worth it? This means if I get 100 grams of rhizome I only get 0.057 grams right? Also is the rhizome the whole roots or just one part?

More experimentation needs to be done on plants like this.
Might as well harvest a few kg of dried rhizome in the spring, summer, fall, and winter and compare the extracts.

Quote:The dried rhizome with the stem removed has been found to contain 0.0057% DMT, 0.026% bufotenine, 0.0023% 5-MeO-MMT.[6] The flowers are also known to have DMT and the 5-methoxylated N-demethylated analogue, also 5-MeO-NMT. The quite toxic quaternary methylated salt of DMT, bufotenidine,[6] has been found in the flowers, and the cyclic dehydrobufotenidine has been found in the roots http://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Arundo_donax bufotenidine is extremely toxic to the human organism, Not sure on dehydrobufotenidine but guessing it probably is as well. Be very careful if planning to work with this botanical

I found some of it, but they were mostly skinnier and more bunched together than in the pictures on google images first page. Anyone wanna point out a different plant that matches this description?
