Hello DMT-Nexus Community,

This is merely an initial post to check things out, an introductory essay will follow, in due course.

Looks like a mighty-fine institution you have here.

Glad to be aboard.

Best regards,

Captain Goodvibes

Thanks Enoon for the greeting. Smile

BTB, I am not The Captain Goodvibes, merely one of his Tsunami Army of Psychedelic Avatars, or Avatards, as the case may be. Wink

Captain Goodvibes, Local Surfing Diety, was part of the explosion of Consciousness that happened in Australia in the early and mid seventies (we were about a decade behind America), there was the Whitlam Government, the sonic LSD that was Radio Station 2JJ, and the Aquarius Festival organised by the Australian Union of Students, and much else besides.

You could say that Captain Goodvibes was one of my early Teachers at that flourishing University of Diversity, of those times.

As for my relationship with DMT and Ayahuasca, it has been relatively sparse, I've been doing the Duracell Bunny down certain Rabbit Holes in the Psychedelic Underground that are not germane to the purpose of this forum.

My first experience of DMT was in the very early days of Acacia explorations in Australia, circa 1992-1993 spearheaded by "JG". It was a "Pharmahuasca" brew composed from Acacia Maidenii powdered bark and powdered Syrian Rue - "Austrahuasca /Ayacacia /Aussiehuasca"

There were several in the bio-assay team of human test-tubes/crash-test-dummies, one took 10 units of the rough-as-guts brew, waited twenty minutes and reported, the next took 20 units, and did the same, when no activity reported, the third took 40 units, instead of thirty, and waited the same without activity reported in 20 minutes, I was the fourth test-tube and took 80 units.

I was also dressed in pure white.

We should have waited more that twenty minutes.

We all aged several years, accumulated a lot of valuable experiential data and concluded that a good dose was about 50 units, of the time.

For myriad reasons I did not partake of DMT again until early 2006, with one of the Australian pioneers of Acaciahuasca in an Ayahusca session, the last Ayahuasca session I have had was in late 2007.

Apart from a very interesting group experiment with IM-DMT simultaneously with IM-K in mid-2007, my exposure to DMT has been limited to the Australian innovation known as "Changa", which I believe to be of great potential in opening up DMT awareness and tolerance in the wider community.

Before I take Ayahuasca again, it will only be after several months of close attention to dietas, but that process has started, I consider it a necessary mark of respect for the Medicine.

I have great respect for DMT and Ayahuasca, and acknowledge the importance of the preservation and cultivation of the experience, but I cannot say that I am endeared to it.

I identify more with LSD and have a lot of time for the phenethylamines, such as DOI, DOC and DOB, of course, with those, no pun intended, you need a lot of time - and an established meditation practice does not go astray either.

There is a lot more in the Akashic records pertaining to altered matters, of course, both classified and drivel, but that's for another time, as required.

Until then I'll keep hallucinating competence.

Best regards,

Captain Goodvibes
