have you upgraded the software with the 1.6 beta OS? Its allows you to host plugins inside machine. I've owned maschine since it came out and have been waiting for that feature. I've always felt that the maschine software made more sense in standalone mode rather than running it as a plugin in ableton. Now its possible to do that and still use your favorite fx and instrument plugins.

it's just a guy playing with some noises in real-time, by which I mean absoloutely instant... big woop. go clang some BIG pots together or get weird and record all sorts of odd noises, like super mario made out of samples of a drip for example
