I really am new at this and damb! I just had the strongest experience I had ever encountered. I don't know if it was a "breakthrough" or not. But I do remember that I caught myself not breathing at one point. It is possibly the most incredible experience I have ever had in my 34 years here. I have no clue where or how far I went and am not fully grasping this experience. I am excited to explore this new world and any help from you guys will be lapped up by me.

Quite something aint it? There's alot of info here. In my signature is a link to the Nexus Wiki... lots of good stuff there. I would also point out the DMT handbook... which can be found on the wiki too.

Can you tell us more about your experience? Did you use a pipe? Where were you at the time?
I have had very positive experiences in the past with a forest setting on a midsummer's dawn.

Hi Greycat,

Welcome to the Nexus. I feel that this forum is not like others, just as DMT is not like other entheogens. Take a look around. It is RICH and saturated with delightful information on all kinds of topics related to DMT. The Wiki link that xtechre gave you is pure gold

You will find that this place is incredibly diverse with members from all over the world of all ages, beliefs and life experiences. We all seem to share a fascination with the N, N, Dimethyltryptamine molecule for one reason or another and that brings us to this "nexus" where we can meet, greet, be social, post thoughts, ideas, rants, etc. There is more of a sacred/mystical edge here than at other "drug" websites, just as there is much more of a scientific orientation. Again, an incredibly unique and rich resource.

And like most things or people that fit my above description, I honestly feel that the more a person puts into it the more they might get out of it. Your description of your first experience into hyperspace sounded incredibly intense and I'm glad you shared it. I am wondering if you might be willing to share anything else about yourself other than your age? Or perhaps more about the experience and how it made you feel. This will help to generate responses.

You mentioned catching yourself not breathing. Did you realize that it was hallucination? Or are you thinking you stopped breathing? I believe that DMT can shatter our perceptions like few other things and it's a shock when we first realize this. Which brings me to the topic of a sitter. I wonder if you used one and how that went?

Regardless of what you choose to share, I again want to give you a very warm welcome to the Nexus and do hope you'll take a moment to check it out. It is special.
"But even if nothing lasts and everything is lost, there is still the intrinsic value of the moment. The present moment, ultimately, is more than enough, a gift of grace and unfathomable value, which our friend and lover death paints in stark relief."

Thanks for the kind words. I think I was holding my breath, might have been an hallucination. So much to reply to, I got into healing plants through my love for mushrooms. I grow medicinal mushrooms like reishi and murill, specifically in for the use of support and treatment of cancer patients. Ahuawasca came up as a healing plant in my research and really got me interested. I am from Africa and can not obtain a sample of Ahuawasca so DMT was the next thing to try. I got 1.5g. Smoked a small unscaled amount (about .1g or .2g) on foil as I do not own a pipe of any kind. This will most certainly not be the case come the weekend.

I did not know a sitter was necessary, I do now. I was planning on lying in the bath to experience this substance. I must have moved around a bit because there was water all over the floor and to another room in the house. I pretty neat and remember thinking "How the hell did the cat do this?" Then it sunk in that a cat does not do that.

The first part was intensely frightening, blood pressure seemed to go up and I was transported immediately into an almost digital world? Hard to describe but insanely beautiful. I can remember seeing my hand digitized. After that initial intensity it smoothed down to something more comprehensible. Visions of multi dimensional shapes swam through my vision and a part of my wondered if I would ever be normal again, another part hoped I would not.

Thank you so much for welcoming me into your amazing forum. I am glad it is not a drug forum per say. I have experience a few other "drugs" but never encountered something as special as this. I am awestruck and if I come across a bit child like to you experienced guys, I do hope it does not irritate anyone. But I am new to this.....and just WOW!

try to work on your breathing throughout all your experiences. deep breathing can really help you during difficult moments.
Its great practice also work on centering yourself and holding steady.

congratulations on your new discovery it is quite amazing isn't it?

Welcome... SWIM too is a bit new, especially to large doses.
" about .1g .2g " is very large, although you probably lost some using the foil method.
Perhaps try a smaller amount when employing a pipe.
Safe journeys! Beautifully intense cat, by the way.
And... if you care to share - what is the scene, psychedelic and otherwise, in Africa where you are?
Thanks,
L

That is not a small amount bru, people are breaking through with 30-40mg with proper vaping.

Bin that foil and invest in a small bong. Sandwich the spice between some ash or herb or enhance some leaf and smoke it through the bong.

Good luck.

Foil gone, pipe procured. Ready for my next experience better prepared.

Strange thing is that my boss at works says I have become his most valuable staff member in the last few days. I feel the same, maybe a bit perkier than normal. But he reckons I'm "like a new person"...??? I don't know if this has anything to do with the spice, maybe somebody else has experienced this??
