Would it be OK to substitute D-limo with Dipentene as it is a racemic mix?

I can get Dipentene at a very reasonable price and much cheaper than D-limo

BE VERY careful!
Dipentene can be a mixed up with various other chemicals.
I made a large mistake buying carelessly paint-thinner dipentene and tought it would be ok.
It was not!

Do your reseearch on the chems you use.
You must assure, that they are 100% the substance you want!

Take care!

In what way it was not OK? In theory dipentene should work fine as a limonene replacement. As a racemic mixture dipentene should contain roughly 50% d-limonene and 50% L-limonene. It may not be very food safe though.

Cheers, that will do nicely - going to acquire a few litres and see what its like

Although I'm not to bothered if its not quite food safe, would be a lot safer than most solvents.

I just want to state this VERY clearly: My dipnetene was defintitly not pure d-limonene. There was a dead fish on the can! The effects on higher dosage of dmt were horrible!!! Really HORRIBLE.

It smells differently than my d-limonene.

Be careful!
