the fact that you dont filter the solids when making a BLAB but straight away add the lye after the vinegar soak makes it basically an STB (arguable, we've had this discussion before on how to define it, but yeah..... ) The issue some less experienced people might have with BLAB is IMO not the acid soak, thats very simple, but rather the fact that there are extra steps at the end, after pulling with the solvent, which might seem daunting at first look.. but those extra steps are super easy, technically speaking, its nothing more difficult than mixing and pulling, as you would do with any other tek.
