SWIM is making changa. SWIM heard that about 4 days are needed to completely evaporate acetone, so he was surprised to wake up today and see almost all of it was evaporated overnight. he was also surprised to find a sticky 'residue' left behind. Are the extra evaporating days needed to evaporate all that gunk or is SWIM's changa fucked? Is it not possible to just use naptha for making changa? How much changa was made, and how much acetone was used? does the evap dish have a wide mouth? Does the acetone evap clean? or is it that nail polish remover that you gf uses? Once all my acetone evaps, i move the changa round and let it sit for another day, till it is crunchy. As long as you used pure acetone all should be good. And yes, naptha can be used, just take a little longet to evap.

As far as I'm aware its pure acetone. Well, its a bottle of acetone, and not a commercial product. The dish I used was a glass bowl. I used a bit too much acetone for this perticular soaking. The 'residue' itself is where the liquid was sitting in the bowl and the glass under the herbs looks untouched. The herbs are pretty dry but they still taste of solvent, but bare in mind that it has been evaporating for less than 24 hours. my only guess is that the residue is in fact DMT that has been dried onto the glass, but since everything still tastes of solvent its a little hard to tell

SWIM just flamed a bit of the 'residue' and it evaped straight away and stunk to high heaven of DMT. Guess that problem is solved, now for his herbs tasing of solvent...

Let it sit for a while longer if you still smell solvent. The bottle, was it labled "household acetone"? from the chemist?

SWIM got it off ebay. It is Labeled 'ACETONE ----- UN-1090 ----- acetone' It doesn't have a product usage on it, just the words acetone and a bunch of warning symbols

Sounds good, just move the changa around a bit and let it dry another day. If there is any residue left on the glass, just take some smokable herb and rub it in, or use a little of the dry changa and rub it up. If I may ask, what blend did SWIY make?

SWIM has a few blends on the go, with caapi leaf, dream herb, mullein and peppermint with varying strengths. First time he has made it so currently working on the best mixes.
