I am not sure if this is humorous but pretty sure it is fun, though frivolous.

And obvious, so sorry about that.

Also this is skewed way in favor of the sighted, which I am aware of as my husband tries very hard not to loose the remaining sight in his one working eye.

In sober real life, sometimes things go wrong, events turn traumatic, something looks horrific so one option we have is to CLOSE our eyes.

In DMT space I have infrequently found myself fighting/resisting enough that my eyes would OPEN.

In fact our realities are inescapable, as we DMT users have learned. But we attempt to escape or change their input simply by opening or closing our eyes, depending upon which reality we are currently immersed within.

The eyes truly are the window to the soul.
"But even if nothing lasts and everything is lost, there is still the intrinsic value of the moment. The present moment, ultimately, is more than enough, a gift of grace and unfathomable value, which our friend and lover death paints in stark relief."
-Rick Doblin, Ph.D. MAPS President, MAPS Bulletin Vol. XX, No. 1, pg. 2
