Hey You There

Do you get annoyed by coffee filters tearing up while doing some extraction work?

I have good news for you! I bought Nylon 500 mesh filter from Aliexpress and that stuff works great!

How safe is this with solvents like heptane, naphtha, ethyl acetate...the usual suspects?

I found the cotton cloth they use to make the bags that flour used to be sold in way back to be a good one too. Relatively cheap cotton calico types, specially good with rue seed squeezing.

I do not know, the mechanics and interactions between nylon and those solvents you mentioned.
As far as I see it, nylon is some plastic type of fiber, those solvents are mostly sold in plastic bottles.
