Great thread, I became quite interested in clowns/jesters after some Spice journeys of my own in which I encountered some very joyful, playful, light-filled clowns coming out of the creek I was sitting by. The clowns seemed to carry this message of, "Spice is a magical, divine substance, we're so glad to see you!". After this experience I researched the history of the clown in the various world cultures, and came across this fascinating insight from Joseph Campbell, in the transcript of his interviews with Bill Moyers entitled "The Power of Myth": "This is why clowns and clown religions are helpful. German and Celtic myths are full of clown figures, really grotesque deities. This makes the point, I am not the ultimate image, I am transparent to something. Look through me, through my funny form." The clown is not important; what stands behind the clown, what the clown points to, is what matters.
I remember in another thread someone suggested that the clowns and jesters and similar entities are sort of introductory entities in the Spice realms, leading naturally to something beyond. What that is, I don't know, but this same clown-like entity frequently appears in both inner and outer visions after I partake. After reading on here, I now know I haven't broken through to hyperspace. I've encountered some very wild entities, and seen very wild things happen both in the inner and outer worlds, and been "milked" by a number of entities, so I feel that hyperspace has begun to download my consciousness, as someone else suggested, but has yet to reveal itself to me in its massive splendour. Any advice for finding what's beyond the clowns would be greatly appreciated, though I suspect this may just come with time.
Peace * Love * Hail Eris!
