Used 120 g MHRB
Added 200 ml hot white vinegar
kept over bowl of boiled water, to keep warm
stirred, left to sit 45 minutes
Replace bath water
Added 200 g pickling lime
Stir til mixed & dry, added splashes of boiling water until easy to stir (may have left too dry)
Mix at this point was turning a brown color on top. It seemed to evaporate a litte, as it dried somewhat during this process.
This stage is the first pic below
Let sit for 30-40 minutes
Pour on 125 ml Naphtha and stir.
The Naphtha never got milky or seemed to change - it remained clear. Don't know if it should or not.
Decanted Naphtha and left to sit all day & overnight.
Nothing. Bark is dried out pretty well, kind f hard & Naphtha is sitting there, some has evaporated, but no crystals formed. Second pic of the mixture today.

SWIM is sure she did the Q21 lime tek exactly. Something went wrong in the wash. She wondered if the temperature of the Naphtha was the reason. It was cold in the garage where it is stored. Perhaps the lukewarm goo didn't warm it up enough to pull the goodies out? The Naphtha was never foggy. Should it have been?
Now the goo is a little hard. Can it be softened again and should SWIM put warmed Naphtha in it and try again?
SWIM says it's still in there...

Update: SWIM used boiling water and vinegar to bring consistency back to the base. She added some more lime, since the base was no longer turning a dark color on the crust. this worked. The base began to act like it did yesterday before the poorly done wash.
SWIM then heated up the Naphtha that had been used for the failed pull.
As the Naphtha was heating, the dishes that had once contained the failed pulled formed beautiful pure white crystals that have the distinct smell of DMT SWIM has smelled before.
The second first pull is now brewing. How often does SWIY get a second chance to do something the first time? LOL
Expectations are high. SWIM is jumping around, excitedly, clapping.
