Hello Nexians, My name is Andrew McGahan and I am a researcher at the University of Canterbury (New Zealand) conducting a study on the effects of psychedelic use on individual’s self-understanding (i.e. insight into one’s own inner workings). This survey explores reasons why people use psychedelics, different types of psychedelic experiences, various set and setting factors and their effect on psychedelic experiences, and the long-term impact psychedelics have had on people’s beliefs, behaviours, attitudes and world view. We understand this is a broad topic and this survey is but a small step towards a more systematic understanding of the psychedelic process. All data gathered will be completely anonymous. However, if you choose to participate in a potential follow-up interview your data would be confidential not anonymous, as we would need an email address to contact you and organise the interview. The purpose of the interview is to gather a more a detailed account of your psychedelic experiences and their impact on you and your life. The interview is completely optional, and you can choose to remain anonymous by only completing the online survey (which is very helpful as well ). Rest assured, all published material would be completely anonymous in both situations. The following link will take you to the official information page and consent form. The survey should take about 30 minutes to complete. Psychedelic Experiences SurveyThank you for your supporting psychedelic science!

I took your test! I didn't even study!
That was a bit time consuming but found it provided opportune time for me to think about the ends and outs of my psychedelic usage recently and in the past. It's good to look into your vitals from time to time.
Oil is good! Replacing the dipstick now.
VROOM! VROOM!
Hope that helps your cause!! Glad to help anything in regards to psychedelics!

Thank you Poe, your contribution is very much appreciated. I also agree, being prompted to reflect on one's usage every now and again can be helpful. It's not always so easy to be motivated to spend the time and think through the many aspects psychedelics play in our lives or how we use them.

I'm grateful for your research efforts. Thanks for inviting my responses. " Enjoy every sandwich." - Warren Zevon Still searching for that elusive 'N' Chromosome. "No, they never did turn me into a toad."

I've started it but haven't had a chance to finish yet (I've been very busy the last week). I'll have it done sometime within a few days. Good to see more data being compiled

Good to see more data being compiled Cheers Spiral. Your partially completed questionnaire should last 1 week, after that it gets automatically deleted.

That was rather long, but absolutely worth my time.
Looking forward to see what conclusions/suggestions can be drawn from the data!

Looking forward to see what conclusions/suggestions can be drawn from the data! I'm glad to hear that Trypens. There are a lot of questions that we can ask the data once we're finished collecting. I think it's going to be quite interesting.
