Hello lads. I dont have any exotic plant in my country so I used common reed as my source for dmt. I tried STB guide from youtube and chemicals i used are - Ca(OH)2 for base and Lamp Oil as a solvent. I mixed the grounded root with water , then with calcium hydroxide. Then i left it for about 30minutes and i added my solvent. I shaked several times the jar and after about 2 hours tried to pull the solvent out with syringe. Then i froze it but i either get no crystals or crystals dissolve when i pour out the solvent. Could someone say any advices ? It would be really great. Thank you

STS is a community for people interested in growing, preserving and researching botanical species, particularly those with remarkable therapeutic and/or psychoactive properties.

so, you are not using Phalaris species but Phragmites? and root? I looked it up and known use in chineese medicine related to airways but I don't think it contains DMT to start with.
You can only extract what is in it .

Pretty sure there must be some Phalaris where you are, check the Phalaris Identification thread

EDIT
apparently it does, guess I learn something new every day,but contains gramine

Try back-extracting from the lamp oil into vinegar. Evaporate this to a paste and add sodium carbonate. Allow to dry, then pull with alcohol (ethyl or isopropyl) or acetone. Evaporate to a goo.

Active work has been carried out recently by some Nexians to establish the optimal parts and conditions for extracting magic from common reeds.

If you want to try a stronger base for the initial extraction from the plant material, mix molar equivalents of lime and washing soda in distilled water. This reacts to produce caustic soda and chalk.

“There is a way of manipulating matter and energy so as to produce what modern scientists call 'a field of force'. The field acts on the observer and puts him in a privileged position vis-à-vis the universe. From this position he has access to the realities which are ordinarily hidden from us by time and space, matter and energy. This is what we call the Great Work."
― Jacques Bergier, quoting Fulcanelli
