Hi all,

I have read Rick Strassman's book DMT the spirit molecule couple of years ago when I was playing with the idea of DMT but spikes of blood pressure were recorded and mine was on avarage 150/90 at that time as had undiagnosed kidney cancer.

anyway, tumour out and I did DMT this year few times

Don't have the book here as my friend is reading it at the moment so can't quote but I remember the hypothesis that people who were born C-section as their Pinal glad wasn't activated at birth have harder time breaking through or just letting go....

I only did a survey in my close circles as not everyone I know takes psychadelics but noticed people who were born naturally are tripping harder, well especially females...

I was born by C-section and until I had DMT I never had open eye visuals, not even after LSD or mushrooms,at higher doses maybe closed eye visuals or only shifting shades

What are your thoughts?

If someone can ,please feel free to make a pool

I was born out of C-section and have never had a problem letting go or breaking through.

Maybe my ever-present skepticism including pineal gland theories is due to my inactivated pineal gland though Twisted Evil

are you male or female?(if you don't mind me asking)

the girl i spoke to was naturall birth,my mates girlfriend and she is tripping even on cannabis speaks to entities and stuff, which I find strange, considering even at low doses.

I'm a male.

IME women are generally more sensitive to psychedelics than males

Some people are just hardheads. I'm a vag born female and I'm a hardhead. I require larger doses of things like lsd to get the same level of effects as an "average" tripper, nothing to do with difficulty letting go. We don't medically understand yet why some people respond more readily to psyches than others, beyond some enzymatic issues.

Anything about the pineal gland and childbirth is totally unproven and speculative. Yes, c sections are encouraged way more than necessary in certain places, but I don't believe it's part of the war on consciousness - rather an effect of for profit medicine.

when I was born in that time and place only if you didn't make it on time you gave naturall child birth,I was born during socialism era so money wasn't an issue, think it was more to keep female vagina in tact for their husbands I think

I personally don't think there is any scientific basis for this.

A lot of claims made by psychedelic users, published, accomplished or not, tend to be coloured by their psychedelic experiences and the epiphanies and learnings they had whilst under the influence. My self included.

A lot of people integrate these epiphanies and learnings in ways that that are totally unrealistic and it goes hand in hand with that feeling that the experiencee is now some how more special or woke than those that have not just had the same earth shattering experience.

The way I see it is that by the time you are ready to come out (full term), c section or natural, your brain is as developed as it's going to be at that point in time. The birth method is unlikely to some how change the physiology of your brain matter.

With regards to people having trouble breaking through, or tripping less. There are just so many other variables that are more likely than how they were birthed.

The method of consumption, the dose, was any wasted in consuming, how much they've eaten, how high/drunk they already are, have they consumed anything that is contraindicated, how does their body/brain react to the stimulus, are they actually really high, but expected something else than what they experienced, thus thinking they aren't too high (example being before I ever took acid, i was told about hallucinations of aliens and yadda yadda yadda - never happened). And some people just lie - "im not high" or "it doesn't affect me" are often ways of rebuffing peer pressure or avoiding usage because prior bad experiences.

I would tapproach what you read in books written by psychedelic visionaries with a grain of skepticism. Asses the think8ng and ask yourself if there is any basis for the claim outside the circle of a bunch of hippies who had access to some of the most mind bendingly pure and potent psychedelics known to man. If not, you have probably got your answer.

the idea of natural birth is you go through some kind of trauma, you are not pulled easily out hence the theory of the pinal gland getting activated.

I think it comes down to individual and maybe the suggestibility aspect of personality, for example,Derrenn Brown ( the magiscian) picks his subject before going on the show,as he said himself the stuff he does even at his shows doesn't work on everyone.

Some people see an advert and by end of the week they must have the item etc...

EDIT:

I have seen my 2 kids been born natural way, first one was taking nearly a day and second one about 4h ...

Derren Brown is a con. Theres an account written by one of his selected audience members that describes in detail the pre production of the hypnotism trick.

Are all the other stage magicians and other such performers conmen as well? The entire point of these performances is to create an impression of something impossible or at least outside the scope of objective possibility. There are shorter clips of this but, for those who haven't seen -
