Hi! This is my first post I hope I will be doing this correctly (sorry if this is not allowed)
My partner and I are about to buy some land in Portugal (where MH growing is legal) and we had a few questions about planting/harvesting MH trees.

First of all, is the climate in Portugal good for growing MH plants? If not, which other DMT containing plants would be more suitable?

We know that growing from the seeds the plant will take up to 5years before reaching its full size.
My question is: How much Inner Root Bark could we, on average, hope to harvest from an adult plant after 5years of growing?(Considering that he would not be killing the tree but only digging up as much as possible to ensure that the roots can keep growing afterwards) ??

And how much space would be recommended to leave in between each tree when planting them?(To allow the roots to spread as much as possible as well as facilitate the digging up during harvest time)

Thank you for the future answers guys!!

You may well be better off trying one of the active Acacias. IIRC, Acacia longifolia is already established in a few locations in Portugal and there's the advantage of being able to use the pyllodes ("leaves") as a more sustainable, easier to collect source material.

Check out some of the Acacia threads here.

That's not to say you shouldn't also give growing MH a try as well!

Hi. Maybe someone could help me. When the first time i tried dmt mhrb was still easily available in my country, and also that was the source i was know about, but now i see that mimosa tenuiflora is also mentioned. Are they the same thing or two different plants? After a quick search i found that where i live at gardener shops mimosa pudica is on stock. If i buy one i can use it later to acces the hyperspace or only i would have a nice plant?

Mimosa tenuiflora and mimosa hostilis are synonymous.
Mimosa pudica does not contain any alkaloids suitable for "accessing the hyperspace".
