Smile

How do you deal with the bronchoconstriction from ayawaska?
How do you personally give in to the coiling anaconda's squeeze?

Is shortness of breath considered "normal" or is this an effect to beware of?

Good quality Syrian rue (Peganum harmala) for an incredible price!

I thought aya was a vasodialator..

Though I have heard people on the aya forums talk about the feeling of stones in the chest or whatever from caapi heavy brews..

I seem to respond waaayy better to aya whenI have been eating mostly just fruits and some vegetable soup for a few days..and not eating or drinking anything for a few hours before hand..otherwise I get prussure in my degestive tract...like heartburn, which can maybe cause the symptoms you are speaking if..not really sure though..

But yes I have heard this before..
Long live the unwoke.

Actually that is a bit uncommon. Caapi is known for opening airways. I never have to worry about my asthma when I am in an Aya cerimony.

Are you sure this is actually happening. Aya and DMT are both known for their body hallucinations (can't breathe, breath has slowed to a crawl, etc...)

I am certifiably insane, as such all posts written by me should be regarded as utter nonsense or attempts to get attention.

I don't know SWIM and personally don't trust him at all. If SWIM is posting, most likely I will not respond...as I said, I don't trust the guy. YOU I trust, but never SWIM.

yep even drinking 15 grams(w/6g chali shared with love) has me breathing about half as deep as I normally can...which is not a very safe feeling. When I had a spagyric, taking 10 drops would have this same effect on me. Just wondering peoples opinions on it. I feel that working with caapi in low doses has been very beneficial, and I would like to explore further, but this has been holding me back.

Caapi is a vasodialator.

I had one particularly challenging experience where I thought I couldn't breathe; the intensity of the awareness in my lungs was so much that it was just totally overwhelming. I called for my sitter, and I was stuck somewhere close to hell (not entirely, but maybe on the outskirts) for a few hours.

When it was all said and done, I was like, "OMGWTF JUST HAPPENED!?!?!?!" I grilled her about what was happening with my body, and she said it sounded like I was on the couch, sleeping.

It was more the PERCEPTION of breath that was altered, rather than breath itself.

Now, when these things happen, I just focus on staying calm, breathing deeply through my stomach (it's particularly intense if you are being physically invaded/penetrated by spirits when the admixture hits), and it DOES PASS.

If you fear and panic, it gets A LOT WORSE.

The answer for concerns about anything... including breath... is breath! Smile

when consuming aya, is breath really necessary, wouldnt you be wholly satisfied stepping outside of space and time as we know it into an infinite Self. why would you care about a possibly hard time breathing, let it take you, hope it takes you Smile

to drink, you must breathe.
