Hi there fellow travelers, I have been doing research for quiet some time now but really struggling with it all. I have done plenty of reading and asking friends for information but still to no avail. I have found a bit of information on acacia Auriculiformis but hardly any at all. Nothing concrete. I was wondering if anyone has had any luck extracting from this beautiful tree or if anyone could point me in the direction of one that is native to the northern territory? I have found a fair few but none up more north near darwin? Any info would be greatly appreciated. Thanks heaps

I think I am just going to extract from the Auriculiformis, obviously with much regard to it's life. I don't want to cause any harm to any so I will gather it from a few different trees. I found 2 in particular which are on the banks of flowing river which I feel have much to teach me. What I want to know as I have never done an extraction and I have soo many questions but I will probably figure it out as I go but what's a good tek to use? I just don't want to cause any damage to myself or the tree and I am not sure when is the best time of year for this tree, also, should I be using bark from the trunk? I am keen to do some trial and error but really want to enjoy the experience of extracting. Any info would be kindly appreciated. Also, I will be a long time user and contributor of this gorgeous forum once I attain more knowledge and all that. I love this community. There's just a lot to learn and I don't know where to start. Thanks yall
