Why is my dimitri yellow ? Options

Sup guys, i followed the salt tek and it describes putting your bottle or flask that you use in hot or warm water so the particles can bind and stay in the top solution, what i found out is when i don't do that i get white dimitri, not that the yellow dimitri is less nice, i guess its an aesthetic preference .

does this have a negative effect ? And is it better to keep your liquid cool when extracting because i see in many teks that they say molecules bind better when heated (not boiled ofcourse) up.
