Is there any mescaline analogue out there, that actually comes close to the real thing?

I expect not, because such a chemical would be highly sought after, i suppose. And the most popular chemical that is somewhat related to mescaline structurally, is probably 2c-b, wich i think is nothing like mescaline.

How close of an analogue are you thinking?
I have no experience of either of these compounds so it would be wonderful to hear from anyone who has actually tried them.

Why do you ask?

Mescaline is maybe my number 1 favorite psychedelic substance in the world.

If there would be anything out there that realy comes close to it, i think i would want to try it out and then maybe stack a decent supply of it before it gets scheduled.

Legality - or otherwise - of the analogues in question would depend on your particular local jurisdiction. I have a feeling that most of the relevant compounds have already been banned in much of Europe. You will have to check your local laws (and maybe send me a link - then I'll comment on further possibilities, if any).

Cactus is also my favorite oral plant psychedelic, dragonrider. I love it dearly. Am very new to it (this year) but I've yet to have a bad experience.

If I had hotshot chemist skills like some on the forum, my first undertaking would be a mescaline synthesis.

Simple answer, yes, but also no. I've yet to find anything to match the beauty of mescaline. 2C-B as an example, its great, incredible, and has its own beauty. But not the beauty of mescaline. There are many , many many others that also share some aspects and are very beautiful, and powerful, I would say TMA-2 and DOM are very special like mescaline in this way, but, they have their downsides, being much more stimulating. 2C-TFM is another special one and shares aspects comparable to mescaline and 2C-B and 2C-I.

I could go on for a long time about many many others, which have value just like mescaline, and some others have yet to be tested or created Very happy

An important question in design is where to look, the 3,4,5 pattern? or the 2,4,5? The first simple compounds derived (such as escaline) were active psychedelics, but lost much of the characteristic beauty. While some of the 2C-X series and the TMA or DOx series have some of these special characteristics.

many 3,4,5 compounds remain unexplored due to their synthetic difficulty, and compared to the greater activity and easier preparation of the 2,4,5 compounds. So most time was spent developing those. In time, with improved synthetic methodology, I believe new and beautiful mescaline like compounds can be created. Smile
