Just 24 hours from Re-x with heptane, was stored in cabinet all night and this is what I found. The black specs are my counter surface.

I love it! I’ve been big on slow pricips lately. That there shows me the big difference between re-xing with heptane over Naptha. I got large crystals, biggest was 200 mg, by leaving in cupboard for 3-5 days with cheesecloth over jar to also slowly evaporate. And I used tiny seeds to get them started. Those look amazing after one night. More uniform than mine. Bravo my friend!

Ive tried to grow big ones before too. Ive spent days caring for a jar, wrapped in layers of insulation, gradually stepping down the coldness. This was put in the cabinet overnight and BAM there they were without even trying. my guess is the heptane was so saturated that it didn't need the cold.

Here's the sad part, big thick crystals don't seem to want to melt/burn correctly in my GVG so I ground them all into a fine powder.

That is a bummer. Usually I use a dab rig, so I can drop whole crystals in. Next time I’m definitely gonna try using heptane.
