I tried to break through(for my first time) with 40mg spice(MH gordotek extract}. I vaped it with the dream catcher and a heat gun. Inhaled and laid on my bed for a minute or so. I felt a little body tingle, but mostly my throat felt constricted. I got up, I figured I must not have got enough of the molecule. I still felt constriction in my throat. I went into my comp. room and sat in the desk chair, I took some deep breaths trying to loosen my throat. It did feel better after a few deep breaths.

Then my whole body began to tingle, so I closed my eyes and laid back in my chair. The tingling intensified especially in my hands and feet. I sat there for about 3-5 minutes, keeping still, but did not experience any visual or auditory changes. but the tingling continued to intensify more so in my hands. I finally opened my eyes and looked down at my hands and my fingers were not clinched but arching the opposite direction, one of my fingers almost looked broken, I cannot make it bend in that direction on my own. I tried at this point to move my fingers but could not. They were vibrating, basically having a spasm. I felt normal in all my other body parts, but I still could not move my fingers. I got up started lifting my arms up and down and was able to slowly move my index fingers just a little, and little by little the other fingers followed. After about 5-8 minutes I had full mobility of my hands but the muscles in them were still vibrating. I asked my wife to feel my hands, and she said they felt very cold, until the movement returned along with the warmth.

Has anyone else had this sensation??

Back story- I vaped at 4:30PM and did not eat anything all day, except for an ounce of Macadamia nuts and did drink about four to five cups of black coffee through out the day. Maybe the caffeine reacted with the molecule? Any thoughts??

Good quality Syrian rue (Peganum harmala) for an incredible price!

As far as your experience goes, I think what you are describing is a sub breakthrough dose. I suspect you did not completely ingest the entire 40mg. I feel if you did, the sensations you would be having would all be occurring in hyperspace. Smoalk moar next time, take another hit or two, ingest your entire dose. You might be surprised how much spice is left in the vaping device.

I have often looked at my hands coming out of my DMT journeys. They always look foreign to me right at first. Like I have no bones, turning my appendages to noodles or spaghetti. The vibratory sensations are very common for me. Feeling a little cold afterward is common for many.

As far as the caffeine, I feel anything we bring with us will find it's way into our experience one way or another. I wouldn't think it would halt your experience but I think that it could hue it. Personally I like to be very relaxed before DMT, sometimes I will take melatonin. I usually ingest before bed when I do it. Just my preference. I like nighttime and I like to go to bed shortly after as it can provide for some interesting dreaming. Being tired from exercise or a long day is very conducive to going deeper in my experience.

Good luck!

Quick question are you taking any medications? some medications can interact with psychedelics with a whole range of side effects everything from just making the trip less intense all the way to siezures….not trying to scare you we should all be aware of stuff that can happen. I had personally experienced interaction effects with other psychedelics in the past when I was on certain meds (gota mention these meds alone can be toxic) haven't experienced it with dmt as I was only introduced to dmt recently and haven't been on those meds at the same time

I don't think I was having a visual distortion, because everything else was as normal, but I do agree with the caffeine having an effect. Next attempt I will be careful of what I ingest through out the day. I have been thinking that I did not get the vapor deep into my lungs and it kind of settled in my throat. Than when I took some deep breaths a few minutes later, the molecules got into my lungs, but probably diffused by that point. The cramping of my hands though, has me a little concerned.

Thanks for the response Smile

That's a good point, but I'm not on any meds. A while back I was practiced the wim hof breathing technique a few times, and my hands would tingle the same way when I was fully oxygenated, of course not as intense as yesterday. I didn't feel tense when I was lying back in my chair, but my hands sure did. I will give another go, but my preparation will be different, thanks for feedback.
