If your solution is in acidic ranges and the Spice is protonated then it will be super stable. In case it is in its basic form you will still have no trouble pausing stuff for 1 night. If the spice does not get in contact with other reactive chemicals or direct sunlight (UV) then also nothing will happen to the Spice when being in alkaline environment. To make it even more safe you could freeze your stuff, but then it may take long to unfreeze again if you only want to skip for 1 night.
So you say you are at a point where you have the alkaline solution and then you salt it and acidify. I dont really know cybs tek but shouldnt it be in a different order, from acidic cook to salting to basifying (for final extraction with naphtha)? Still in any case that doesnt change the stability in both cases, so no worries
