In the end... I am you and you are me...

Just a leaf on a tree
we will eventually all see

the cycle of life and death
to be repeated until we finally rest
and see that this was all a test

you and me
cant you see?

beauty and sadness
love and sorrow
yen and yang

without darkness
you can not see

the void is whence we came
the light is what we seek

lets not fall back asleep and repeat

ouroboros
round and round
like a leaf on a tree

reborn to repeat
till we see the true feat.

I am you and you are me
the trunk of the tree is we.
"There Are Things Known, and Things Unknown, and In Between Are the Doors." Jim Morrison

"The man who comes back through the Door in the Wall will never be quite the same as the man who went out. He will be wiser but less sure, happier but less self-satisfied, humbler in acknowledging his ignorance yet better equipped to understand the relationship of words to things, of systematic reasoning to the unfathomable mystery which it tries, forever vainly, to comprehend." Aldous Huxley

my second poem since my 1st dmt exp, 2012... I was very...young when I 1st joined this site but have been trying to mature, one thing I have learn is that smoking more dmt isn't gonna make me a prophet... you gotta take what you have learned from the experience and try your best to integrate it into this dream/reality.

also deep breaths and love, love is the light!!!

but both are needed

The poem echoes how DMT changes the way we see death as a beginning and not an end. Without this fundamental change we are doomed to relive a life over and over until we get it right and learn how to ascend. Ultimately, we must see more than both sides, we must see the line that lies between the two in order to truly see. It's like I always say, the most important part of the yin yang is the line that lies between the two sides. It is at that point where the two converge as one.

As an artist, DMT has been a huge influence. In fact, SWIM wanted to try it in order to enhance my writing. It did that, and so much more. My entire artistic spectrum has been enhanced. On top of that, my fear of death and ego are not an issue. Eliminating this from my life is liberating and provides clarity. This clarity has enhanced my creativity, of this I have no doubt.

Peace.
DD.

Beautiful words. Reincarnation is not part of my belief system, yet the song isn't lost on me.
