So I know enzymatic degradation occurs on nn dmt within fresh grass soon after harvest . At least I've read such.
Has anyone ( and I'm sure some one may have analysied a sample ) tried freezing the raw cuttings , then began extraction and isolation , at a later date , after a moderate sample size has been collected ,without showing any reduction in nn dmt overall ?
I'm looking outside this post for answers , however I thought I'd also post to see if anything new has been found up to date on it . Ty

Likewise , immediate heating to denature any protein / enzymatic paths maybe ?

Following. Would love to know also. I would think a good drying in the oven like the defatting done to acacia would work...?

If you harvest Phalaris and freeze it within 1-2 hours after harvest you can still get decent yields. You can even get decent yields with dried grass.. You'd wanna harvest a few pounds to get enough smokeable product. For tea, smaller amounts work fine. Be cautious, good luck.

Hey Chimp z, are you saying that drying does not cause a significant decrease in potency? If not, would a quick oven dry bypass the enzymatic breakdown of tryptamines? Right now the weather itself feels like an oven where I live. Ty . Chimp z , this is what I was looking for. Hey dithy , are you dithyramb from the old ayahuasca.com forums?

Hey jasonssong! Nice to see you here. The ayahuasca forum had it's days, though I appreciate some parts of whatever droplets that continue. My experience was with dried leaves and it was by far the most intense experience I I've ever had. Didn't even usr all that much, can't remember exactly how much but it wasn't more than a few ounces dried Turkey Red tea taken half an hour after a rue extract.

It' sure did , I loved that site . So many fantastic people ready to help and all digging for accurate and precise information about the plants and methods . Truely magical , don't be a stranger if you see me around here , I was really hoping it was you ! And you're right , it is prob overdue I go back and hear a few things too , of only for a little .

on yield I guess I'll freeze for now . I'm thinking the cellular rupturing may be an additional benefit to yield perhaps, if only slightly .

I guess it s maybe negligible then to freeze or not although I'll prob still do one or the other
