Hey guys, just a quick question. I have 50 g's of each and was just wondering if i could mix the 2 and it still work. I figured id have to add a defat step and also i have another batch that didnt pan out the first run so can i add some lye and try again if i already based with lime? Id hate to throw it out without trying atleast but id like to know if thats a bad idea. Im definitely no chemist but at same time im no dumb ass.

I have no experience mixing the two, but I have ran the exact same procedure on both, so I see no reason why you couldn’t.

And with the salvaging of the first batch, I had a similar experience. My first ever extraction was using using a stb dry tek with washing soda for base. It didn’t yield anything but a residue, so I put it up on a shelf and it turned to a dry lump of basic bark goop. I try again with an a/b of remaining unused bark, and get it to basic soup phase and figure, what the hell lets throw the dried goop in the soup. Definitely saved the first batch. So just throw it into your next batch during base phase.
