I am in my 5th decade of life. I am so pleased to see so many of liked minded beings here seemingly seeking the same objectives. I have for the last 4 decades been in an altered state of mind, either with cannabis or alcohol. I have tried Mushrooms twice, and LSD three times, in my late teens. Increasing the doses each time, but never achieving any visual alterations. So I had given up. My feeling was at the time if I need to take more than one full hit of acid to trip, Maybe it is not for me. So weed and booze were my go to vehicle. Then last year I happened upon,(or the universe happened upon me) Terrance Mckenna videos. I enjoy his talks, it stimulates my mind, with his colorful speech about mind expanding substances as well as the historical information contained in his rants. So here is where I was exposed to DMT, which until then I had never even heard of, which was suprising to me, because I like to think of myself as being fairly knowledgeable about such things. I feel the universe is reaching out to me at this time in my life for some reason. I have abstained from smoke and booze for the last 7 months and lost 30 lbs of excess weight. (Keto-it works) I have been working towards this journey.

Glad to hear you have an extraction complete. Please write up an experience report if you choose to try out some DMT. I like to hear about first impressions, something of a fascination with me.

Congrats on the weight loss and no smoke and booze for seven months! Hard to make changes in life sometimes. Sounds like you are on the right track for sure!
