Trevor wonders did you make sure your solvent evaporated clean and your DMT was fully dry?
Trevor has felt this sick lightheaded feeling before early in his explorations but never figured it out.
Trevor does get sick in his belly from smoking DMT sometimes. He has concluded DMT in any form makes his feel sick. He notices that psilocybin and DMT mess with his equilibrium and perception of space. Makes him feel like he is on a boat sometimes.

One wrong thing is to not spend time to search and read in the multitude of thread in this place. « I love the smell of boiling MHRB in the morning »

This, if it's happening to you, chances are someone else beat you to the punch and asked already, there's tons to search through. But ime, sometimes I get dizzy, I've verged on purging just from freebase, sometimes I'm fine. Most of the time I chalk any dizziness/nausea to preflight anxiety, and lately it hasn't been a problem since I've developed a preflight routine to calm my nerves

Are you swallowing smoke? Whenever dmt gives me nausea I end up burping up smoke shortly after. And you will come to find that we are all one mind Capable of all that's imagined and all conceivable.

It could be that the bark you have isn't very good, If it's just a smoking technique issue then you should solve this problem soon enough. What i do is use a regular pipe, But some tea leaves as the base, Then put in the dmt, Then cover it with tea leaves leaving you with the sandwiched method. Be careful not to accidentally burn the spice as you smoke it because that will kill it. For me tea leaves technique - you get the top red and burning and then you remove the lighter flame and inhale. Good luck

I sit quietly for 20-30 minute beforehand, at least attempting to clear my head. I have an incense blend than I find particularly calming that I will light in my trip-space. Making sure I'm properly hydrated before a trip seems to help too. Also I've tended to ingest and then immediately find something to worry about, knowing this about myself and doing what I can to eliminate my worries beforehand. i.e. cleaning up the space, making sure my cats can't come into the room, making sure someone else (Mrs) knows what I'm up to.

It's really not as challenging as some make it out to be. Out of the several methods I've tried, the recommended GVG is my least favorite... I've had great successwith a sandwich method using mullein, or making enhanced leaf with the same, and using a regular old bong or weed pipe. But lately the "modified crack-pipe" method has been my go to. (That makes it sound like i smoke with regularity, i don't.) The only thing i wouldn't recommend is sandwiching with weed, the two just don't synergize with each other well. Either using a cheap chillum-style pipe from a head shop (the kind they sell around here usually at the counter in a POP display) or the glass tube from an eye dropper (single-use,disposable- thin glass not suitable for multiple torchings) with spice sandwiched between two pellets of chore boy works a charm. Torch lighter if you have one, but bic styles work well especially with sandwiches. You'll figure out temps and how not to burn it. If any of those technical terms stump you, OP, check your googler by typing the term+DMT nexus, works better than the local search. No matter how much i calm myself-which i do regardless- without fail there is always an "oh crap, i can't turn back" moment when the spice actually gets lit but usually I'm overwhelmed with comfort before panic sets in. My advice: just do it. Sine experientia nihil sufficienter sciri potest -Roger Bacon *γνῶθι σεαυτόν*
