Plate Goo Options

Sometimes there is a goo on SWIMS's plates after freezer precipitation. SWIM usually lightly scrapes the salt of the top and the goo is a little hard to get off the pyrex plate when he is washing it off after. This is after re-exit so there isn't base. The goo is transparent but SWIM sees it has a harder time evaporating than the solvent but does evap in about 20min... Ideas?

The salt definitely has a chemical/flower/plastic smell to it.

If that goo is left after you evap just your solvent? That's Bad. Don't use that solvent. If solvent evaps clean and the goo is left after precip/evap then That's DMT. See how it smoalks.

It just needed a further evap and sure enough, was the good stuff.
