Hello, here I found an itneresering post: https://www.dmt-nexus.me...aspx?g=posts&t=68730Quote: my pet pigeon's friend of a friend found out that when milk is added to a mimosa hostilis brew a thick gloopy paste rises to the top of the brew which can be scooped and disposed, thereby gathering all the tannins and sediment and binding it together into one glob.
...
the milk curdles and cleans up the brew at the same time. works great for an extra smooth brew, no messy filtering necessary. it congeals along the entire volume scooping up all the sediment.
mhrb + water + milk, or mhrb + water + syrian rue + milk, no vinegar necessary
maybe some actives are lost, who knows but the resultant brew is far easier going than a standard brew.
So is it right that I can only drink MHRB with Milk and before taht PEganum with Milk to have the effect of ayahuasca without brewing it?! CAnt imagine that!

What the post is saying is that after you make a brew, you add milk, to bind and precipitate the tannins which can be filtered away and make the brew better-tasting . I havent read or done with milk, can't vouch for that but i've done it with egg whites and it works.
You still have to brew it though.
Also, maybe some of the potential medicinal benefits (antioxidant, antiparasitic, etc) can come from tannins, so removing it also diminishes those.. It's all a trade-off.
