Hello forum members. I will take a moment to thank all of the users who made this forum very informative and useful with their opinions and advises.
Before proceeding to to my questions about DMT, I will give a brief information about myself and then let you evaluate my questions. The following text is not to brag about myself but rather for you to evaluate and give opinions how DMT might affect my lifestyle. I am a 30 years old man, living somewhere in the middle of Europe and Asia. I have received my bachelors degree in civil engineering in the USA and have since been very successfull in my career, having worked in numerous projects and currently working as a construction manager in a 1.5 billion dollar project. I am married and have a precious 5 months old son which is basically the meaning of my life right now. There is absolutely nothing wrong in my life, thank god, and I am a very happy man. I was introduced to marijuana when I started college in USA and has since smoked it almost every day. And as a part I think I owe my career success to marijuana because it keeps me away from bad emotions and I think it helps me to make better decisions. I dont smoke it openly though, noone knows about it, even my wife. I live in a place that marijuana is considered a bad drug which will ruin your life, instead alcohol is praised as a manly drink which everyone should drink. I have only tried mushrooms once, little amount (an 8th for 3 people), with two friends and it was the most amazing and important experience of my life. A few days ago I came across the existence of DMT and read a lot about its effects. It instantly got me interested and decided that I have to try it. With doing a little more research i realized that it can change your life forever, which also might includenegative effects. I have listed my concerns below before deciding to try it. I just want opinions and if availablec professional evaluation why I should or should not do it.

1. I dont fit in completely with the people around me. I have very good friends, but some of their ideas about life seem ridiculous to me, and it sometimes makes me feel like I am the one who is wrong. Like they want to have wealth to buy expensive stuff for their kids, but I want to gain wealth to give unlimited educational resources to my son. They judge people and follow social media hype like its their own life, but i just dont give a sh*t why neighbours daughter dates that black guy. This makes me constantly angry, but only inside. I keep thinking about what is wrong with society. I hope i can let go of those thought if I try DMT. Or maybe have a different approach and understand why they think this way.

2. I make very good money, but there is a cinstant feeling inside me that mankind should not be slaves of monthly paychecks, i always want to have that bright business idea that can grant me financial freedom. Not in a way like billion dollars, but more like i dont have to worry about the end of the month. I am constantly thinking about quitting, although i make good money. I just dont see any justifying reason why mankind came to this level of slavery. I am not looking for a particular answer from DMT, i am just curious how it might affect my way of thinking. How it might affect my work life. Like when I smoke weed and look at my construction project from balcony, I thank marijuana for giving me this opportunity and making me successfull, while others around me condemn marijuana when seeing crime news about drug use.

3. My family life is very stable and happy. From what I have read online, is it possible that after DMT i will lose my insterest to my family and my son? Is it possible that I will lose my will to live alltogther because this life will seem too boring?

Now, I know DMT will not directly answer these questions. But from mushrooms I have realized that tons if questions have been answered. Only positive things were experienced on mushrooms. It has been ten years since that, but those answers are still with me. I am not in doubt to try DMT, I just want your opinions. Overall, even if it does not answer any of my questions, I am more than willing to just experience its effects and sort of improve myself to next level.

Thanks in advance for your support. Ask me anything you want and I will br glad to answer.

Hello traveler,

Thanks for sharing yourself with us. Seems like you're already on a good mental path in life. However the questions you ask are not easily answered, simply because we all react differently to different stimuli.

Regarding point 1, I don't think DMT or any other entheogen will alleviate the feeling of desperation when looking at mankind's self-destructive trajectory and behaviors. On the contrary, entheogens may even intensify this feeling. But the ever-present balance can not be disturbed by nobody and nothing. Along the bad comes the good as well. You will most likely gain new perspective on people and will be better suited to place yourself in their shoes and experience life from their perspective. This level of emotional understanding definitely helps alleviate the pain that being aware of society's flaws causes.

Regarding point 2, I don't think a profound spiritual experience has the power to negatively affect your creative side and destroy the passion you have for something you do. On the contrary, it might make you even better at what you do. Many people have experienced this. Some with writing, others with music etc. You will never know until you try. The concept of money is not inherently a bad thing. It's the execution that sucks.

And finally about point 3 - I wouldn't believe in such things. If you love your wife and your son, no entheogen will make that disappear. It might strengthen your bond with your family, but it won't destabilize it. You made it possible for another physical vessel to carry the magic of existence and consciousness inside of itself. In a sense, you gave life. There are few things more precious that that, and I trust DMT will remind you of this and help you appreciate it even more.

Finally, go into those realms not requesting answers, but rather seeking help to ask the proper questions. A new direction in life. New light shed on everything. New questions to be asked. A new path to walk on.

It may change your life completely, or it might alter your perception just enough so you can learn to truly appreciate what you have, who you are and what you gave to this world to make it a better place for everyone.

I send you love and support throughout your future journeys. Be sure to share with us.

With love and gratitude,
Nydex Love

Hi!^_^

How have we reached this state of slavery? Quite simple, one must look at oneself and look at one's conditioning; how one went through with school, through college, through the system of civil marriage and law. How one smokes weed or cigs one times and PUF! One smokes it all day every day for years. Once one sees how one is a slave one sees why the world is enslaved...to their desires, their anger, their ambition, their fears, their ignorance...

To me it sounds like youre very ready.

DMT is not what people researching it think it is. Unless you see it for yourself there is no other way to know what it is. It will flout your expectations and at the same time surpass them. The dmt experience is impossible, something that should not be.

If you managed to smoke cannabis every day for years and that has not taken time away from work or family, you got this!! dmt only takes an hour at best and is NON addictive (not in the way they say weed is non addictive, dmt is actually non addictive, in the way apples are non addictive.)

DMT will only change you completley for 10 minutes at best, then its back to your normal self. If you are a poet, you will probably think about your experiences every day for a very long time. People react so different though.

Best of luck!! =)
