Are there any difficulties specific to extracting small quantities? Options

Planning out my first STB extraction from MHRB.

I want to start small with 40g of MHRB to work out kinks, etc. Does working with this kind of weight introduce any additional difficulties than working with say, 100g?

No, it shouldn't present any extra difficulties. In fact, working with smaller amounts first is recommended. One of Cyb's teks calls for 50g so you are pretty much on the money. Anywhere up to 100g is a good place to start. May your endeavors be blessed!
