Here's something you might like, I've been working on an animation where a couple of Goombas trick Mario into taking DMT. This is only a preview, the full video is 6 minutes long and has a storyline, and the cat tells Mario about his future (future Mario games) and the real world. The music I used is a placeholder from one of my favorite artists, Terrafractyl. Some fun info:
- The code that Mario flies through is the actual original NES game in hex format.
- The chips you see animated are the actual chips in the NES. The first one is the 6502 core, and the second one is the full NES CPU.
- The cat is a stuffed cat I bought in a supermarket in Greece. It appears to be made of real cat fur?
- I've only been doing animation for 7 months. Adobe After Effects is incredibly powerful, and it has a scripting language similar to javascript (I have a programming background) so you can do some insane things with it. It's never too late to get into this, and somewhere down the line I hope to make tutorial videos to help people make videos like these!

For me the intensity/brightness of the whites in the center of the screen was a bit overwhelming in full screen mode. I had to drop back to a window to watch it.
I still enjoyed it though.
