a beautiful mind has left us yesterday. his wonderful work and chemical discoveries lead many on a path to uncover great mysteries about themselves and what's beyond.

RIP Sasha.

"..undisturbed by order, chaos creates balance. it is not the artifical balance of scales and weights, but the lively, ever-changing balance of a wild and beautiful dance. it is wonderful; it is magickal. it is beyond any definition, and every attempt to describe it can only be a metaphor that never comes near to its true beauty or erotic energy."

"the angel is free because of his knowledge, the beast because of his ignorance. between the two remains the son of man to struggle."

That Shulgin, he was a real ++++ kind of guy.
Life should not be a journey to the grave with the intention of arriving safely in a pretty and well preserved body, but rather to skid in broadside in a cloud of smoke, thoroughly used up, totally worn out, and loudly proclaiming "Wow! What a Ride!”

Oh that is terrible news. So many lives touched by this man's extraordinary work, and many of them probably don't even know about him. I always had a desire to one day meet him and give him a simple thankyou handshake or mayhaps a simple thankyou bear hug.

Maybe in the next life Sad, rest in peace brother

RIP Sasha Shulgin,

Legend, We continue enjoying what you started Smile

“Psychedelics are illegal not because a loving government is concerned that you may jump out of a third story window. Psychedelics are illegal because they dissolve opinion structures and culturally laid down models of behaviour and information processing. They open you up to the possibility that everything you know is wrong.”

His passion was as pure as his compassion.
I loved watching him connect with others on very different planes and admired him alot!

I want to thank Ann and his family as well, for you are a part of the loving framework that always highlighted his brilliance the most for me.

Man I'm having a shitty day. My car got broken into, and I just found out Alexander "Sasha" Shulgin has passed.

Shulgin was a legend. He did so much for the research community. He was a true pioneer. We owe many of our findings today to Shulgin. Much of the progress in the fields of chemistry and psychedelic research can be attributed to his work. He will be greatly missed and forever remembered. I'm sure he's in a better place.

RIP Sasha Shulgin. You were a great man, and you will not be forgotten.
POADS is gone!

His work and philosophy has changed my life, We lost a great man today. My heart aches for his loved ones, especially Ann, His life partner. It pains me that a man with so many patents and such groundbreaking research died like this while suffering from dementia and unable to meet healthcare costs. My condolences and support for all his loved ones!

An underground legend. His creations will live on and change the direction of humanity in due time. A job well done. Thank you Sasha.
May you return to your place in the cosmos..

Such a loss to the psychedelic community as a whole. Someone who was prepared to stand firm in his beliefs, and to continue pursuing his goals. Enjoy the final trip good sir Pleased
I always thought I was the piece who didn't fit the puzzle. Turns out, I was looking at the wrong puzzle.....
