Hi, i have a quit bit of material to work on and I dont think its possible to get all the liquid into my freezer at all. Does the quality get a lot worse if you just evap and let dry?
What is the reason for the freeze prezip?

thanks guysSmile

How much naphtha could you possibly be using that it wouldn't fit in your freezer ?
The freeze precipitation is to drop solubility via temperature so that you can retrieve a substance as a solid.

If your freezer really is that small then you can use the FASA route. https://wiki.dmt-nexus.m...action-The_FASA_Approach . Or you can just precipitate as much as you can in a fridge if you evaporate the naphtha down to concentrate it more.

... just keep it simple. If you dont have room for the naphtha then yes.. you can just let it evap. the quality will not be impacted as far as i have experienced. Just make sure its in a glass dish so you can scrape it up. When ive done extractions i just let it evap without freeze precip now. I get a tan wax.

If you evap fully it will be sticker and less fluffy crystal but higher yield. I always re use my naptha from each freeze precip and then evap it at the and and keep the sticker full spectrum separate from my cleaner xtals.

my biggest problem is the form of the freezer, its small and flat, Jars are not possible, thats why I have to either find something else or evap it.

You really wouldn't wan to use a jar anyways they make colecting he crystals a pain in he arse. Small pyrex baking dish is what you need and they come i many different sizes.
