Hi-
I searched tirelessly through previous threads to find a good answer but it seems like most people using acacia confusa are settling for an oil type product.
Is there a tek on here that anyone has tried with acacia confusa and ended up with crystal DMT upon completion?
Thanks so much and redirect me if I'm missing something DH

You can get crystals from an A/B extraction. They actually drop out at room temperature. Several people have claimed that they aren't near as potent as crystals extracted from mimosa, however. There's still no real answer as to why this is occurring, at least not yet.
You can always do a recrystalization on the goo pulled from acacia.

If anyone is looking for an answer to this as well, check back in about a month or less. Can't do it immediately as I'm focused on another project

If anyone is watching this, I've decided to go with this extraction tek: http://www.erowid.org/ge...view_temp/LexTek_v1.pdf
Let me know what you think. I also plan on diving in a little bit earlier than planned. Getting 1kg of Acacia Confusa root bark powder and I'm gonna use half to start.

Why would you start with half a key? If you mess it up, that's a lot to lose... I suggest try a small amount first to test. Check the tek in my Sig for a 50g starter tek. Please do not PM tek related questions Reserve the right to change your mind at any given moment.

I would also suggest a smaller amount. 100g's or less just so you get familiar with the process.
The tek you chose looks good. Let us know how it goes and good luck!

Thanks y'all-
Cyb, forgive my laziness but does your tek result in crystal or "goo"? No clue why I jumped to half a key :/ I guess since I have half a key of powder I thought hmm better to lose half than whole -___-
Nope, losing 1/10th would be better

With acacia you're going to pull goo regardless of the tek, I believe. I could be wrong, but I did as much reading as I could about extracting acacia before I went ahead and tried it. The goo isn't something to be afraid of It's very pleasant with some positive differences from just fairly pure crystal DMT freebase. It's great for making changa or enhanced leaf. I suppose it would be somewhat difficult to work with if you wanted to vaporize just the goo. And like I said: Dioxippus wrote:You can always do a recrystalization on the goo pulled from acacia.

People have reported both Goo and Xtals...same with thick light's tek Seems to be a trait of Acrb...bit of a crap shoot with how much NMT is onboard the bark. Don't forget that Acacia isn't as consistent as Mimosa and also Goo is just as awesome. Please do not PM tek related questions Reserve the right to change your mind at any given moment.

I have used several steps from LexTek, it's a really good procedure. As far as this goo you speak of... I have never yielded any amount of goo. Always gorgeous, white crystals from Acacia. My first go-round with Acacia, I used Marsofold's Tek and borrowed the defat step from LexTek. No goo! Try it!

The volunteer has only been able to extract goo from ACRB which made for good changa with mint. He has a theory on heat during extraction being the main reason for the oily outcome and will try an extraction without heat next time. I'm not sure I would blame heat for being the cause of an oily product. I have used heat in all of my ACRB extractions and I have never had that result.

Personally, all the work I've done with ACRB, and whole acrb has yielded goo, but then again, I don't do a de-fat, and I like the full spectrum stuff. I Just dissolve in ipa and make enhanced mullein with it. It's really portable, easy to dose, and it kinda just blends right in with my medical marijuana stash, which basically looks a little more low-key than a bunch of white powder. But that's just me...
