First extraction went well need help cleaning up the hiccups. Options

Two hiccups I need to sort to finish up my first extraction.

Hiccup 1.

There is condensation in my trays. Water made it in, they were not airtight enough.

Question- How do I get it out?

Hiccup 2.

A tiny bit of basified solution made it into the trays (first time siphoning and my baster sucks bollocks).

Question- While getting the water out how do I get out the tiny bit of basified contamination that made it into the trays.

Notes that might matter. It was an ACRB extraction so it will have NMT in it which melts at a lower point, so air drying for a prolonged period will mean melted product is possible. And The crystals that did drop are quite white so I want to salvage and re-x as much as possible (in the event a re-x wont save the contaminated area)

Cheers.

I would probably swirl some warm solvent in the tray to dissolve everything back into it, pour it in a glass or tall narrow sort of container, allow any basified solution to settle and siphon as much of the solvent as possible and freeze precip. again. This time in a small mason jar or something more air tight.

I scraped it all up and re-x'd. The basified solution was caught up in the slime at the bottom when I decanted. Water sorted itself with a long fan dry.

It is now in the freezer preciping.

Cheers.

Okay man, let me tell you what is done to clean my deem to near complete pure. This is what happens. Take your solid form dirty deem crystals and drop them into vinegar in a jar. Mix it up thoroughly so that all the deems has become dmt acetate and all the plant soup in mixed in with the vinegar too. Then once you have your dmt laden vinegar you mix in clean naptha with it. When you do that it'll grab everything that is oily, or fat soluble. It grabs all the plant oils that are left over and anything else that is bad for your final product but it does not grab the deems because its a salt. Then you siphon off the naptha and either use it in another pull or throw it away. Its all nasty. Then what you do is add lye to the vinegar til you have base 13. Then you add 50ml per gram of dmt of clean near boiling naptha(made from hot water bath). Then you mix it up and pull the naptha from that. You can freeze or jjust evap it all and you will have nearly completely pure goods. This tek has been successfuly done to 28g at one time. Pics available.

Jesus christ man, why would you ever need to do an extraction that big? Shocked

Even with heavy personal consumption it would be near impossible to smoke all that.

Thank you, but after a single re-x I am comfortable with NMT content and waxy/oily consistency.

This is how Acacia gave it to me, this is how I will partake. I am with Acacian on this, why separate them. It lends a different flavor to the experience. Mimosa gives me crystals that are dense and solid, acacia gives me white fluffy crystals and orange waxy oil. They share floral scent aspects and yet differ. I like that about them.

Cheers.

Wut?

Keep in mind these types of activities are frowned upon here at the DMT-Nexus. 'Spiritual awakening parties', if that's what your 'deem' is really used for, are not endorsed for the following reasons:

1) It can attract the attention of law enforcement to you, your participants, and the DMT-Nexus.
2) The larger the group the harder it is to control the set and setting, possibly leading to negative experiences.
3) It smells of something commercial. Are you proving this service for free?

I will point you in the direction of the Attitude you agreed to when joining the site.

No commercial-scaled extractions and reckless “spreading”

Quote:
The Nexus is not a place for commercial operations and we do not want to support drug dealers; we believe in using these substances for personal use.

If and when sharing these substances, we believe that it has to be done without money or other payments involved, with a careful approach and care when facilitating the introduction and/or experience of others.

It is imperative to take care that the person ingesting has no contraindicating medical/psychological history, takes it in a proper set and setting, and correct dosage/method of ingestion. This cannot be done if the substances are spread on a large scale. We do not want to "turn on the world", those who are ready will seek it.

Indiscriminate spreading of psychedelics can lead to potential serious damage to people and is a big legal liability. Big extractions (and the preparations leading to it and gathering of materials) can attract the attention of the Law.

Spreading of the message of psychedelics itself through superficial YouTube videos showing use or extractions can also cause a lot of damage to the community (as happened with salvia) and is frowned upon.

I respect the spice and treat it as it should be. Sorry for semi hijack of post.

I've never tried with acacia, I hear it has more oils to start with. A defat is necessary, ain't it?

Namaste to both you of you my fellow Nexians,

Worry not about offending me for sharing civil discourse in my thread. We all share the spice, though we may differ in our linguistic and even cultural approach to it. I must admit I too was initially offset by the term "deem" then I realized I am no one to judge and that I would do best to see the higher in all, instead of assuming the lower.

In the end I am simply glad that you thought to come and peruse this thread at all, and that it stimulated thought, and discourse. And in the end I was able to remedy the issues that arose, so for this thread to have done anything beyond that is a gift to me. Even if it was learning nothing more than another way to theoretically defat should I have wanted to.

Ayurveda, and Much Love.
